2. Bookings & Payments

• Reservations are made via our Booking system online or by emailing OldeParkHotel1886@gmail.com.
• Your date is not finalized until both a 50% deposit and our Rental agreement are received.
• All balances must be paid in full 2 weeks before your reservation.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds for bookings. We will gladly move your event date to a new available date up to 2 weeks before your event date. If you must cancel within 14 days of your event date, then no refunds or reschedules can be given…If you find yourself in this scenario, please call ASAP so we can work to rebook your date. In some cases, we can make a partial refund if we can resell the date.
• Bookings made under non-refundable or promotional rates cannot be canceled or refunded after payment.
• No-shows or cancellations after the 48‑hour cutoff will forfeit both the deposit and any remaining balance.

4. Force Majeure

If a booking is canceled due to extraordinary events (e.g., natural disasters, travel restrictions), we reserve the right to waive cancellation fees and issue a full refund or offer rescheduling options.

5. Guest Responsibilities

• No Smoking inside the building at any time. No drug use is allowed on the premises, anyone caught using illegal drugs will be asked to leave.
• Respect all historical elements and artifacts. Please do not remove them, relocate them or use them for anything other than their intended purposes without permission.
• This building is currently under some remodel works, please do not enter any areas that may be temporarily restricted due to construction activities.
• Use of open flames is not permitted unless discussed and preauthorized. We aren’t against it; we just want safety to be the first priority.
• No burning of incense or items that create smoke inside the building.
• Use of ghost hunting equipment and experiments are welcome and encouraged, so long as your equipment and gear are doing so in a non-destructive capacity. (No Proton Packs, sorry we’ve seen what those do)
• Absolutely no crossing of spirits. This is their home, first and foremost. They are what makes the Historic Olde Park Hotel so unique. Anyone caught trying to cross over any spirit will be removed from the property immediately.
• All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver before being allowed to investigate the Historic Olde Park Hotel.

6. USE OF PREMISES & INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Purpose:
  • Private Overnight Investigation: (Non-Commercial)
    A Private Overnight Investigation is any booking where no tickets are being sold to anyone outside of your group and the event is not advertised.
  • Hosted Ticketed Event: (Commercial)
    A Hosted Ticketed Event is any booking where you charge an admission fee to participate in the event, whether that event is open to the public or select participants/groups.
• Event Insurance Requirements:
  • Any bookings that are classified as Hosted ticketed events will be required to submit to the Historic Olde Park Hotel a Certificate of Insurance listing the Olde Park Hotel as an Additionally Insured Entity. If you do not have event insurance, we can underwrite a $5,000 property damage policy for $50 per day of your event.
  • For Private Overnight Investigations, you are responsible for damage to the building for you and any of your guests. It’s very rare to have anything broken, so if something goes wrong just let us know (unless you’re just smashing stuff we aren’t going to be mad, we just want to preserve this beautiful building).
• Maximum Group Size:
  • The base fees for renting the Historic Olde Park Hotel include up to 12 people. Each additional person over the first 12 will be an additional $50. The Maximum number of people we will allow in an overnight investigation is 30.

7. MEDIA & EVIDENCE

• While we understand copyright laws, we also believe sharing is caring. If you post evidence that you captured here at the Historic Olde Park Hotel, please tag us! We love to support those that support us. So, we will definitely repost and share your links, provided you tell us. Seriously, we can’t help promote you if you don’t tell us.
• The Historic Olde Park Hotel operates several static cameras in the building. If you have any experience and you think these cameras have captured that experience, please inform us and we will get you copies of the camera footage to use. Please bring some form of storage device and we may be able to get you the data immediately! Like we said, sharing is caring!

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Texas state law. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in local courts within Texas jurisdiction.

9. AMENDMENTS

We may amend this Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we amend this Terms & Conditions, we will update this page accordingly and require you to accept the amendments in order to be permitted to continue using our services.
